Launching late October 2026
CAD Assembler opens to everyone in late October 2026. Write to us to hear when it opens.
Shop drawings for storefronts, curtain walls and windows
CAD Assembler is 2D CAD built for glazing and facade work. Draw each part once, join parts into parametric systems, and get every frame of a job drawn at its real size.
How it works
-
1. Draw your parts
Extrusions, gaskets, glass, hardware: each part in front, side and top views, with dimensions that drive the shape and parameters that stretch it.
-
2. Assemble systems
Snap parts together with magnet lines into a storefront, curtain wall or window system. Set its width and height once; every part follows.
-
3. Run your projects
Add each frame of a job at its real size, with marks and quantities, and get its elevation drawn for you, ready for sections and sheets.
Made for the way glazing shops work
- Familiar tools. Revit and AutoCAD habits work here: a ribbon, temporary dimensions, window and crossing selection, grips, object snaps and tracking, two-letter keyboard shortcuts.
- Parametric, not redrawn. Change a frame's size and every mullion, pane and gasket follows. Grids lay out bays by count or spacing.
- Your units. Fractional inches, millimeters or meters. Type
85mm,3'-5"or36"in any box. - DXF in and out. Bring manufacturers' profiles in from DXF, or trace them from an image; export parts back to DXF.
- Web and desktop. Use it in the browser or install it on Windows or Mac; your library is the same everywhere.
- Built for estimating too. Pro adds pricing on parts, cost estimates, quotes, cut lists optimized into stock bars and purchase orders.
Who it's for
Glazing contractors, storefront and curtain wall fabricators, and the drafters who make their shop drawings. If you draw the same systems again and again at different sizes, CAD Assembler is built for you.
Pricing
Start free with the full drawing tools. Standard is $29/month, Pro $59/month, two months free when paid yearly. Founding members save 40% for as long as they stay subscribed.
